One Month In
with Millie

Meghan NesherTime flies and moves in slow motion. These moments with Millie have been a blur of love while equally overwhelming and exhausting.

Through it all, invaluable life lessons are being gathered. Here are 10 things I've learned from month 1!

  1. Embrace the chaos, stay present, accept every moment, spit-up included.
  2. Spit-up is gross. So f*cking gross.
  3. You aren’t going to feel like yourself for a while and that’s ok.
  4. Thank you notes can wait.
  5. You can’t be everything to everyone. Somebody always needs something and sometimes that’s just their damn problem, not mine.
  6. I might not brush my teeth until I go to bed at night. 🤷‍♀️
  7. Speaking of breath, a deep breath makes a world of difference. Pausing to breathe.
  8. Cereal is a perfectly good option to feed my family for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
  9. Don’t cut your hair. I repeat, don’t cut your hair.
  10. Hands are FULL... heart is fuller. Millie is pure magic.
